Statement of Faith
It is our intent to include in our statement of faith the basic tenets of the Christian faith. It is our purpose to be neither liberal nor legalistic in our presentation, but Biblical in all respects. If we try to include too detailed a statement it would cover a book and cause us to be too "tight" in our beliefs. If we include too little there would be no basic guidelines to guide us. As the old saying goes, we strive for unity in the essentials, for liberty in the
non-essentials, and for charity in all things. Neither do we believe that doctrinal beliefs are the only tenants of unity, rather we believe that our unity is in the Holy Spirit and
Jesus Christ Himself.

The Trinity
We believe in the one true God, the eternal and self-existent “I AM” who created the heavens and the earth. We believe that He reveals Himself in three persons as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that these three persons are one in their unity and eternally co-existent.
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is God’s message to us and a faithful and reliable witness to the Word of God incarnate, Jesus Christ. We believe that the 66 books of the Bible were written by human authors who were inspired by the Holy Spirit and that as such the Bible is the foundation for our beliefs and conduct.
Creation
We believe that in the beginning God created all things from nothing by the power of His Word. We believe that it is this same Word that sustains all things to this day.
The Gifts of the Holy Spirit
We are a charismatic church that believes the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for believers today. These gifts include the gifts of prophecy, speaking in tongues, interpreting tongues, words of knowledge, physical healing, and the gifts of faith, wisdom, discernment, and miracles. We believe that within the body of Christ, these gifts ought to be part of the normal experience, but that in all things order must be maintained.
Salvation
We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and that our sins have separated us from God. However, by God’s grace, we have the forgiveness of sin, reconciliation with God, and the certainty of eternal life, through the confession of our sins and the declaration of Jesus as Lord.
We believe that Jesus is both Savior and Lord. Salvation is what He has freely provided to us. Living our lives under his Lordship is our response to Him.

The Local Church
The local church is to be a place of teaching, fellowship, prayer, and worship. As believers we are to keep meeting together to encourage, uphold, correct, and pray for each other. At Faith Fellowship we make it our mission to be a place of
HEALING, BUILDING and SENDING:
•healing for the spiritually wounded.
•building each other up in the faith and growing in our maturity in Christ.
•being on mission as we are sent to reach our neighbors, city, nation, and world.

Heaven and Hell
We believe in the existence of heaven and hell. We believe that Jesus has prepared a place for all who have accepted his Lordship and that to be absent from the body is to be present with Christ. We further believe that those who reject the free gift of God’s grace will spend eternity apart from his love.
